■ COPENHAGEN — The village Board of Trustees has switched its meeting from Thursday to 7 p.m. today at the village office on Main Street.

n EVANS MILLS — The village Planning Board will host a special meeting to review a proposed zoning law amendment at 5 p.m. Thursday at the village office, 8706 Noble St.

n The Potsdam Chamber of Commerce is seeking nominations for its Commitment to Community Award. The award is given to an individual or organization that “enhances the quality of life in Potsdam.”

n ALEXANDRIA BAY — Alexandria’s Town Council will hold its next monthly meeting at 6 p.m. Oct. 2, instead of the second Wednesday of the month, at the town office building on Old Goose Bay Road to give council members adequate time to review the town’s tentative 2014 budget.
