HARASSMENT - MASSENA - Massena-based state police charged Veronica A. Gillespie with second-degree harassment Monday evening stemming from an investigation into an incident reported to troopers at 12:05 a.m. Aug. 14 in the town of Massena. Troopers said Gillespie was located late Monday afternoon at the S curve on Route 131 in the town of Louisville.



MISAPPROPRIATION OF PROPERTY - WINTHROP - Massena-based state police charged Justin J. MacDonald, 25, of Brasher Falls with misappropriation of property Monday following an investigation into an incident reported to troopers at 11:45 a.m. Aug. 16 from the town of Stockholm. The arrest was made at 15 Congress St., Brasher Falls. Troopers had also charged Wayne L. Planty, 31, of Norwood with misappropriation of property on Aug. 21 in connection with that same investigation.



UNLAWFUL POSSESSION - MASSENA - Village police charged Austin L. Bush, 20, of Massena with unlawful possession of marijuana and ticketed him for operation of an uninspected motor vehicle at 3:20 p.m. Monday following a traffic stop on Route 420 in the town of Massena.



PETIT LARCENY - MALONE - Malone-based state police charged Samantha L. Whitehead, 20, of Bombay with petit larceny at 6:15 p.m. Monday after responding to a shoplifting complaint at the Malone Walmart.



PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENT - MALONE - State police from around the region investigated a number of property damage accidents around the region Monday. Among those:

■ Cherie A. Parker, 53, of Brushton and Katie M. Durant, 25, of North Bangor were involved in a two-vehicle collision at 11:47 a.m. on Route 11 at Airport Road in the town of Malone.
