AGGRAVATED UNLICENSED OPERATION - POTSDAM - Village police charged Neil P. Jacobs Jr., 27, of Syracuse with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and ticketed him for speed in zone at 8:48 p.m. Tuesday following a traffic stop on Maple Street. He was arringed by Potsdam Village Justice Nicholas Pignone and remanded to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility with bail set at $300 cash.Police said they made a traffic stop after they observed Jacobs traveling 46 mph in a 30 mph zone on Maple Street. Further investigation revealed Jacobs did not have a license due to 17 unanswered tickets.
