Gouverneur woman charged with criminal mischief

GOUVERNEUR — Alison M. Harp, 19, of 18 N. Gordon St., was charged by village police with criminal mischief Friday afternoon.

Police said Ms. Harp is a resident of North Country Transitional Living Services who started throwing and smashing kitchen items, causing damage and disrupting other residents.

She was being held at St. Lawrence County jail, Canton, on $250 bail pending an appearance in Gouverneur Town Court.
