The state Department of Environmental Conservation is seeking additional feedback as it considers changing the regulations for freshwater fishing.
Some of the changes include increasing year-round trout fishing opportunities at specifically chosen streams and adjusting daily creel limits and minimum size limits on select waters to help distribute larger trout among anglers. Other changes would increase the minimum size limit for muskellunge and eliminate certain daily creel and minimum size limits for walleye.
Input on the changes will be taken until Aug. 16. To view the potential changes, visit http://wdt.me/dFxSwz.
