Showtime proceeds help local charities

The variety show “Showtime” sponsored by Msgr. A.D. Charbonneau Council 258 Knights of Columbus recently presented their 2013 charity checks. Tom Nichols, director of Showtime, commented at the ceremony that Showtime 2013 was very successful in raising over $4,700 this year for charity and thanked his fellow directors and Showtime Cast for their efforts.

Donations were given to Ogdensburg Command Performances Youtheatre, Hospice, Catholic Charities, Ogdensburg Neighbor Center, Salvation Army, St. Vincent dePaul Societies of Notre and St. Mary’s, Ogdensburg Senior Citizens, Ogdensburg Children’s Library, St. Joseph’s Nursing Home Foundation, St. Lawrence Valley Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, Morristown, Heuvelton, Lisbon and Rensselaer Falls volunteer fire departments, RiverLedge Home, Renewal House, Winter Cancer Treatment Center, Knights of Columbus Community Free Lunch Program, Reachout, Heuvelton Music Department, Ogdensburg Free Academy Music department, St. Marguerite D’Youville Academy, Relay for Life and Camp Laurent.
