LYONS FALLS A Utica teen has been jailed on charges that he helped to damage control panels at North Country Car Wash in July.
Lewis County sheriffs deputies on Monday arrested Marcus S. Borggreen, 19, on a warrant charging him with third-degree grand larceny and second-degree criminal mischief. He was arraigned in Lowville Village Court and sent to Lewis County jail, Lowville, with bail set at $7,500 cash or $15,000 bond.
He was accused of helping to cause $6,000 worth of damage to two panels at the car wash.
On Aug. 26, an alleged accomplice, Jason T. Lynch, 17, of 8149 Boonville Road, Boonville, was sentenced to one year in county jail, $1,540 restitution and $375 in court fees on a charge of third-degree criminal mischief.
