TURIN Jason Martin struck out 15 in a complete game victory and went 2-for-4 with a double as the South Lewis baseball team seized control of the Frontier League C Division with a 6-3 victory over Lowville on Friday.
Shawn Loomis tripled, and Dominick Ventura and Luke Kelly each provided two hits for the Falcons (11-1 overall, 10-1 league), who took the lead with a four-run fifth inning.
Connor Fayle and Cody Branagan finished with two hits apiece for Lowville (8-2). One of Branagans hits was a double.
WATERTOWN 15, IHC 10
Steven Hatchell doubled twice, singled and drove in three runs to help pace the Cyclones to an A Division victory over the Cavaliers at the Fairgrounds.
Jared Bellinger singled three times for Watertown (10-3, 8-0) and Sam Maphey tripled in three runs. Christian Jordan doubled in two runs for the Cyclones.
Louis Freda doubled and singled twice for Immaculate Heart Central (5-3), and Spencer Sharlow doubled and singled. Josh Frechette chipped in with two singles.
CARTHAGE 7, SOUTH JEFFERSON 6
Winning pitcher Dan Granger doubled in a run to tie the game in the bottom of the seventh inning and scored the winning run on Matt Drapers sacrifice fly as the Comets edged the Spartans in a crossover game in Carthage.
Dylan James and Cody Spencer each singled twice and drove in a run for Carthage (9-3, 8-1), and Brandon Bush singled twice. Granger also singled for Carthage, which scored six runs in the final three innings to prevail.
Cameron Heasley singled twice and scored three runs for South Jefferson (2-9, 1-8).
INDIAN RIVER 9, APW 2
Edward Malinoski doubled twice and drove in a run to pace the Warriors to a crossover victory in Philadelphia.
Brady Bombard and Alex Whetstone each doubled for Indian River (5-4), which broke the game open by scoring four runs in the sixth and three in the seventh.
Austin Appleby, Steve Isabell, Cole Pappa and Kyle Sheehan each doubled for the Rebels (1-8).
BEAVER RIVER 10, SANDY CREEK 2
Jordan Boliver belted out three hits and drove in two runs as the Beavers captured a C Division victory at Sandy Creek.
Corey Stevens posted two hits and an RBI for Beaver River (9-1).
Mason McNitt provided a pair of hits for Sandy Creek (6-5).

Greg Kunert and Brandon Selley each doubled and singled to lead the host Golden Knights past the Indians in a D Division game.
Brandon Moser scattered five hits in a complete game shutout for Copenhagen (5-4).

Dakota Browne tripled in three runs in a seven-run first inning and also singled to spark the Patriots to victory in a D Division game in LaFargeville.
Shawn Cuddleback tripled and drove in a run for Sackets Harbor (4-6), and winning pitcher Billy Newcombe doubled and knocked in a run. Will Foisey doubled, singled twice and drove in two runs for the Red Knights (5-6) and Matt Valin doubled in two runs.
Ethan Johnson and Thomas ODriscall each singled twice for LaFargeville.
HARRISVILLE 11, LISBON 3
Jared Dreythaler was the winning pitcher and produced three hits as the Pirates (10-2, 8-2) defeated the Golden Knights in a Northern Athletic Conference West Division game in Lisbon.
Justin Hartle and Bryon Evans each tallied two hits for Harrisville. James Darcy and Jon Hunter produced two-hit games for Lisbon (2-7).

Charisse Lapointe singled in the go-ahead run with two outs in the fifth to give the Cavaliers an A Division victory over the Cyclones at the Alex T. Duffy Fairgrounds.
Brittney Dunnigan drove in a run, and Korine Clark allowed one run on five hits in a complete game for Immaculate Heart Central (3-6, 1-6).
Shytarra Lemon launched a solo home run for Watertown (2-9, 1-7).

Jackie Decker went 6-for-7 and drove in four runs, including a three-run home run and two doubles, to propel the Spartans to a crossover victory in Carthage.
Breanna LeFlesh slugged a two-run home run and singled for South Jefferson (10-2, 10-1), which scored 17 runs in the first three innings and totaled 27 hits for for the game.
Courtney Cunningham homered, tripled and knocked in three runs for the Comets (1-7).

Alex Amo, Natalia Pitts, Sierra Dobbs, Katie Sovie and Rhiley Mee each produced two hits as the Golden Knights (7-2) defeated the Pirates in an NAC West Division game in Lisbon. One of Amos hits was a three-run homer.
Sam Rounds, Georgi Baker and Hannah Weaver all tallied two hits for the Pirates (4-8, 4-6).

Clarissa Perrys four goals powered the Spartans to a Frontier League win over the Comets in Carthage.

Connor Brown struck for seven goals to guide the Warriors to a Frontier League interdivision victory at Lowville.
Jon Blair chipped in with three goals and three assists, and Kaleb Loar made six saves for Indian River (2-7, 2-6).
Matt Bush scored on an assist from Dylan Larkins for Lowville (1-11, 0-9).
BOYS TRACK AND FIELD
WARRIORS 10TH AT NEW HARTFORD
Felix Garcia captured third place in the 400-meter hurdles and anchored the third-place 1,600 relay and the fifth-place 3,200 relay to help lead Indian River to 10th place out of 26 teams at the New Hartford Invitational.
Indian River scored 25 points, while Cicero-North Syracuse captured the team title with 94½ points.
Darrius Bryant took fourth in the long jump and sixth in the 100, and Jakese Crockett contributed to the 1,600 relay, fourth-place 800 relay and fifth-place 400 relay for Indian River.
Mathew Olney finished third in the high jump and sixth in the long jump for Watertown.
Nick Tyler, Chris Shelmidine, Andrew Rockefeller and Don Cean ran on the second-place 3,200 relay for South Jefferson.
Devan Peebles was fifth in the 110 hurdles for South Lewis.
