DWI - LOUISVILLE - Massena-based state police charged Scott P. Brainard, 50, of 355 Willard Road, Massena, with driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop at 3:42 p.m. Saturday on County Route 36 in the town ofLouisville. He was also ticketed for failure to keep right and having an open container of alcohol in a vehicle on a public highway and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. He reportedly had a blood alcohol content of 0.13 percent.



PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENTS - MALONE - State police from around the region investigated a number of property damage accidents on Saturday. Among those were:

■ Michawl J. Fraser, 44, of St. Regis Falls at 4:38 p.m. on County Route 5, near Route 11B, in the town of Dickinson.

■ Sally A. Rivers, 45, of Malone and Starr L. Carbino, 43, of St. Regis Falls were involved in a two-vehicle collision at 7:30 p.m. on Route 11, near Sawyer Avenue, in the town of Malone.
