CARTHAGE — Ruth E. Hoose, 22, and Billiejo L. Abramo, 33, both of 43011 Route 3, Natural Bridge, were charged by Carthage police with petit larceny Friday. They were accused after store security camera footage showed them taking $22.87 worth of items from Carthage Market without paying, police said.

Ms. Abramo was released on her own recognizance with an appearance ticket and Ms. Hoose was issued an appearance ticket and released to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department to answer a bench warrant out of the town of Watertown. Both are due in Village Court.
