Massena: Margaret M. Dunbar, 90 formerly of 32 Cornell Ave. Massena died Saturday evening at Samaritan Medical Center in Watertown, NY. She was born in Massena on January 4, 1923 the daughter of John and Rose (Mandish) Kish.

Margaret attended Massena Schools. She was joined in marriage to William Dunbar on May 20, 1950 at St. Mary’s Church, Massena. Willie predeceased her on November 22; 2003. Margaret is survived by her brother Andrew (Betty) Kish of Norwood and her sister Elizabeth (Valeria) and Robert Servage of New Hartford, NY nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews.

Margaret was predeceased by brothers Joseph, John and sisters Anna Aiken and Helen who died in infancy.

Margaret will be remembered for her sunny disposition and smile as a cashier at the A & P Grocery Store in Massena where she worked for over 10 years.

She was devout communicant of St. Mary’s Church and a member of the League of the Sacred Heart. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, April 25, 2013 at 10:00 am at St. Mary’s Church with Rev. Scott Fobare presiding, Interment will be in the family plot at Calvary Cemetery, Massena. Family and friends are invited to call at the Phillips Memorial Home, on Wednesday from 7-9 pm.
