Jeremy J. Roshia, 25, of 12601 Floral Drive, Lot 1B, was charged Wednesday morning by Watertown police with obstruction of breathing or blood circulation, fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, third-degree menacing, second-degree harassment, endangering the welfare of a child and exposure of a person following an incident in which he allegedly threatened a woman with a knife.
Mr. Roshia is accused of putting a metal object that police believe was a knife up to the neck of Phileena M. McAtee, 507 Hamlin St., and threatening to kill her. Police also said he choked her and was intoxicated when he came out of her apartment completely naked and opened a car door, where six children were in the car. A switchblade knife later was found in his pants pocket, police said.
He was taken to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building, where he was held pending arraignment.
