HEUVELTON — Jack Palmer struck out seven and allowed just one hit in six innings to lead the Heuvelton baseball team to a 9-1 win over Lisbon in an Northern Athletic Conference West Division game on Wednesday.

Jon Sloan had two hits, including a double, and drove in three runs for Heuvelton (4-0 division and overall).

Cody Holland tripled and singled for the Bulldogs. Reilly Alberto lead Lisbon (1-2) with two hits.

MORRISTOWN 19, HAMMOND 1

Bobby Simmons struck out seven in four innings to lead Morristown past the Red Devils (1-1) in a West Division contest in Hammond.

Simmons, John Love and Luke King each had two hits for Morristown (2-1). Brock Tulley and Nolan Martin added two hits for Hammond.

CLIFTON-FINE 9, HERMON-DEKALB 1

Matt Russell struck out 12 as Clifton-Fine (1-1) beat the Demons in a West Division game in DeKalb Junction.

Logan Hayes had three hits to lead the Eagles and Emmitt Shaul and Dawson Kerr each provided two.

Cameron Hance led the Demons (0-4) with a two-hit effort.

HARRISVILLE 4, EDWARDS-KNOX 1

Justin Hartle drove in two runs with a double in the first inning to lead Harrisville (2-1) past the Cougars in a West Division game in Russell.

Nick Davison had two hits for Edwards-Knox (0-1).

ST. LAWRENCE 6-2, BRUSHTON-MOIRA 5-6

Tyler Savage went 3-for-4, including three RBIs, to lead the Larries (1-1) past Brushton-Moira in the opening game of an East Division doubleheader in Brasher Falls. Savage drove in the game-winning run in the bottom of the fifth inning.

Jake St. Mary struck out five for the Panthers (1-1) in game two and Zach Burnett had three RBIs.

CHATEAUGAY 10, TUPPER LAKE 9

The Bulldogs (1-0) used a five-run sixth inning to edge Tupper Lake in an East Division game in Chateaugay.

Zach Cowan, Matt Swanston and Cody Smith each had two hits for Chateaugay.

Marcus Richer led the Lumberjacks (0-1) with three hits, including a double, and Josh Clement added two hits.

POTSDAM 10, MASSENA 2

Will Coleman struck out 16 as the Sandstoners beat the Red Raiders during a Central Division game in Potsdam.

Coleman and Andrew Ace each produced three hits for Potsdam (2-0).

Zach Rusaw had a two-run double for Massena (0-1).

WATERTOWN 17, GOUVERNEUR 3

Ryan Bajjaly went 3-for-5 with three RBI’s as the host Cyclones beat the Wildcats in a nonleague game at Watertown High School.

Jared Bellinger and Steven Hatchell drove in two runs apiece for Watertown (3-2).

Hunter Ayen doubled for Gouverneur.

SOFTBALL

HEUVELTON 11, LISBON 4

Hannah Thornhill lined four singles and drove in four runs to lead the Bulldogs past Lisbon (2-1) in a West Division contest in Heuvelton.

Winning pitcher Alexis Weidner drove in three runs for Heuvelton (4-0). Logan Tallman, Alex Sawyer and Rachel Thornhill each produced two hits.

EDWARDS-KNOX 13, HARRISVILLE 11

Makayla Bacon had three hits, including a double, as the Cougars (1-0) beat the Pirates during a West Division game in Russell.

Dakotah Bacon and Harleigh LeBarge both singled twice for Edwards-Knox.

Jena Soper had four hits, including a home run, for the Pirates (1-2).

HAMMOND 8, MORRISTOWN 3

Alyssa Crosby drove in two runs with a triple in the first inning and Taylor Bowman did the same in the fourth to lead the Red Devils (1-1) past Morristown in a West Division game in Hammond.

Crosby and Bowman each finished with two hits. Sam Green had two hits for the Green Rockets (0-3).

CLIFTON-FINE 5, HERMON-DEKALB 4

Kristen Meek and Alison Rust each had two hits for Clifton-Fine (1-1) in a West Division win in DeKalb Junction.

Chelsey MacKay struck out six for the Demons (1-3).

PARISHVILLE-HOPKINTON 9-10, ST. REGIS FALLS 2-0

Nicole White struck out six in each game of an East Division doubleheader to lead the Panthers to a sweep of St. Regis Falls (0-4) in Parishville.

Kodi Perkins and White each went 2-for-3 in game two for the Panthers (2-0).

Brittany Rondeau tripled twice in the opener for the Saints.

MASSENA 21, POTSDAM 1

Mackenzie Young went 3-for-3 to lead Massena past the Sandstoners (0-1) in a Central Division contest in Potsdam.

Bailey Dillabough went 2-for-4 for Massena (1-1).

GENERAL BROWN 16, THOUSAND ISLANDS 5

Katie Pitkin struck out 12 and surrendered five hits in a complete-game victory and went 2-for-4 at the plate with a double and two RBIs as the Lions claimed a Frontier League crossover victory over the Vikings in Glen Park.

Hope VanBrocklin and Rhea Pitkin each drove in three runs for General Brown (3-0).

Lindsay Barton hit a home run and her sister, Allie, doubled for Thousand Islands (0-1).

WATERTOWN 19, GOUVERNEUR 9

Teniesha Gulledge supplied three hits and two stolen bases to help fuel the Cyclones to a nonleague win at Gouverneur.

Destiny Cronce added three hits, including a double, for Watertown (1-1).

Mackenzie Rowe produced three hits for Gouverneur (0-2).
