GRAND LARCENY - POTSDAM - Canton-based state police charged Nancy C. Mahoney, 46, of 4488 County Route 10, Heuvelton, with fourth-degree grand larceny at 2:31 p.m. Wednesday after she allegedly took a purse that was left in a cart March 21 at the Potsdam Wal-Mart. She was released on an appearance ticket for April 4 in Potsdam Town Court. The arrest was made after multiple tips were received from the public after a photo was released to the media.



PETIT LARCENY - POTSDAM - Canton-based state police charged Ashly D. Nesbitt, 20, and Cassandra B. Poole, 18, both of St. Regis Falls, with petit larceny at 7:45 p.m. Wednesday in the town of Potsdam. They were released on appearance tickets.



ACCIDENT - POTSDAM - Canton-based state police investigated a one-vehicle property damage accident at 2:28 p.m. Wednesday on the Morley-Potsdam Road, Potsdam. The vehicle was operated by C.A. Misiaszek, 62, of Potsdam.



ACCIDENT - NORFOLK - Massena-based state police investigated a one-vehicle property damage accident at 6:18 a.m. Wednesday on state Highway 56, Norfolk. The vehicle was operated by Ronald F. Stickney, 37, of Norwood.



WARRANT - MALONE - Malone-based state police picked up Calvin O. Thomas, 22, of Massena at 8:45 p.m. Tuesday on a warrant for petit larceny and misuse of food stamps charges stemming from a July 5 incident in the town of Malone. He was ordered held.



AGGRAVATED HARASSMENT - MALONE - Malone-based state police charged James E. Davis, 25, of Hogansburg with three counts of aggravated harassment: employee by inmate at 9:31 a.m. Wednesday, stemming from an incident that occurred at 11:09 a.m. Tuesday.
