The Woolworth Buildings developers will give a tour of the Public Square structure to officials next week as they begin to work on a tax-abatement package.
Officials from the city of Watertown, Jefferson County and the Watertown City School District have been invited to tour the building. The developers, David Gallo and Erich Seber, will conduct the tour at 1 p.m. Thursday.
Developers are working with the Jefferson County Industrial Development Agency on a tax-abatement agreement for the project for consideration by each of the three taxing jurisdictions.
The buildings rehabilitation will renovate the commercial space on the ground floor and create 50 low- to moderate-income apartments on the upper floors.
