Amy E. Ashlaw, 45, of 117 J.B. Wise Place, Apt. 202, was charged by Watertown police Sunday afternoon at her residence with second-degree menacing, a misdemeanor, and two felonies, second-degree attempted assault and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
Police said she struck Robert W. Murphy, 307 Waltham St., in his left side with a 15-inch metal pipe during a fight when he went to retrieve some of his belongings from her apartment.
The two felony charges are attributed to a third-degree assault conviction on May 16, 2000, in Parishville Town Court.
She was arraigned Monday morning in City Court and was released on her own recognizance.
