Three people face a variety of charges following a disturbance early Wednesday at a Washington Street apartment building.
City police arrested Corey M. Aldrich, 21, of 37088 Pelo Road, Clayton, and Dwight E. Wilkinson Jr., 22, and Danielle M. Brett, 21, both of 505 Washington St., Apt. 206.
Mr. Aldrich, who was charged with second-degree harassment and resisting arrest, is accused of spitting on the face of police Officer Adam C. Beshures and struggling with police while they were handcuffing him.
Mr. Wilkinson is accused of yelling obscenities in a hallway in the apartment building and pulling away from officers while they were handcuffing him. He was charged with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. The two men were taken to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building pending arraignment.
Ms. Brett, who is accused of yelling obscenities in the hallway, was charged with disorderly conduct. She was taken to the Public Safety Building on $100 bail.
