POTSDAM - The Potsdam Chamber of Commerce continues to accept nominations for the 2013 Business of Year Award.

Every year since 1993, the Potsdam chamber recognizes a local business that has excelled in one or more of the following areas: business improvements, innovations or changes that increase service, market area, the volume of economic activity, or employment levels in Potsdam. The chamber looks to recognize long-term excellence and or the ability to overcome difficult obstacles. Recent past award recipients include Save A Lot, Foxy Roxy’s, Ponderosa, First Crush, Great Northern Printing, J E Sheehan Contracting, and Harris Medical.

Anyone can nominate a business for the award. Letters of support, testimonials, press clippings, and other support materials are encouraged. Forms are available at Potsdam Chamber office, 24 Market Street or on the chamber website www.potsdamchamber.com. Send nominations by mail to the Chamber at PO Box 717, Potsdam, NY 13676, by fax at 274-9222, or by email potsdam@slic.com no later than April 10.
