CAPE VINCENT BP has not contacted several stakeholders affected by the proposed Cape Vincent Wind Farm project, according to town officials.
Cape Vincent Town Council members wrote in a letter recently filed with the state Public Service Commission that nine stakeholders identified in BPs revised public involvement program plan including Jefferson County, U.S. Homeland Security and state Department of Transportation were not mentioned in the wind developers Feb. 28 PIP tracking chart, which lists outreach activities.
There were a number of other stakeholder contacts suggested by DPS (Department of Public Service) that were never included in BPs PIP, albeit they should have been included, such as adjacent municipalities, town officials wrote.
