UTICA — The Syracuse CBA/J-D hockey team won the New York State Division 2 title on Sunday afternoon at the Utica Auditorium, defeating John Jay, 4-2, thanks to three unanswered goals in the final period.

Watertown native John Parks serves as an assistant coach for CBA/J-D. The 1986 graduate of Watertown High School played for the Cyclones when they competed in Section 3.
