The citys Parks and Recreation Department will start an after-school program that will allow children to create make-believe arcade games out of cardboard boxes.
Beginning today, the program will be held from 3:30 to 4:45 p.m. in the Watertown Municipal Arenas lobby at the Alex T. Duffy Fairgrounds. It will also be held on March 14, 21 and 28.
Bring your imagination to create arcade games from ordinary cardboard boxes, Parks Department officials said. Boxes, tape, markers and other supplies will be provided. Staff members suggest children dress accordingly because it could get messy.
