The Cape Vincent American Legion Auxiliary has resumed its $10 Lenten fish fries. In addition to fish, menu options include deep fried shrimp, fried clam strips or chicken tenders with sides of cole slaw and fries starting at 4 p.m. on Fridays through March 29 at the Legion Hall, 248 E. Broadway St.

Proceeds will be donated to the Honor Flight project which pays for local war veterans to visit memorials in Washington, D.C. For more information, see www.honorflightsyracuse.org.

See today’s Looking Ahead on D2 for listings of other organizations’ fundraising meals.

Like other Legion posts, the Cape Vincent Legion sells American and MIA/POW Flags ($21.95 each) and Legion members will properly dispose of distressed flags. For more information, call the Cape Vincent Legion at 654-2101.
