Area residents who want to learn more about Gov. Andrew M. Cuomos proposed changes to hunting and fishing licenses can attend a meeting from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in Room 3 on the 11th floor of the Dulles State Office Building, 317 Washington St.
Stephen W. Litwhiler, the state Department of Environmental Conservation region spokesman, said a wildlife biologist and a fisheries biologist will answer questions about the governors NY Open for Hunting and Fishing program, which aims to encourage tourism by simplifying the number of licenses offered and reducing fees for both in-state and out-of-state applicants.
