CANTON The St. Lawrence County Board of Elections is accepting requests from Democrats and Republicans interested in becoming election inspectors.
Requests will be sent to the heads of local parties for appointment consideration for a one-year term. All appointments are subject to attendance at annual election inspector training and passing of an exam. Inspectors are paid $35 to attend the training sessions, $120 to work a primary and $200 for a general election. The election workday is lengthy.
