CANTON Massenas Brady Condlin was selected as the Liberty Leagues mens basketball performer of the week after his outings over three games last week.
Condlin, a sophomore at St. Lawrence University, averaged 24 points and 9.7 rebounds during games against Clarkson University and Vassar and Bard colleges. He scored a career-high 31 points in the Saints double overtime loss to Vassar.
Clarksons John Coleman was named to the weekly honor roll. In womens basketball, Clarksons Leighann Tomita was named to the honor roll.
In mens swimming, St. Lawrences Matt Bauer won rookie of the week honors for the men, and St. Lawrences Alana Blackburn was rookie of the week for the women. Samantha Moffitt reached the honor roll for SLU.
In indoor track and field, Mike Scott of St. Lawrence was selected field performer of the week and SLUs Vince Maniscalco rookie of the week for the men. Ella Martin of St. Lawrence won rookie of the week honors. Eliza Bell of SLU was named to the honor roll.
In squash, SLUs Ibrahim Khan received performer of the week honors.
■ Potsdams John Coleman was named an Academic All-American for the 2012-13 year, making the District 3 first team. Coleman, who plays for Clarkson and holds a 4.0 grade-point average in mathematics, is the first Clarkson mens basketball player to receive the honor in 10 years.
■ Former Watertown High School swimmer Justin Ongkingco won the 100-yard breaststroke and participated on the winning 200 medley relay as SUNY Geneseo won its final dual meet of the season, beating Buffalo State 131-124 Sunday in Amherst.
