Cicero man, 3 others facing charges of DWI

The following are charged with driving while intoxicated and related offenses:

n Vincent E. Carisax, 45, of 8628 Weaver Road, Cicero, was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated by Massena Village Police at 1:58 a.m. Sunday.

Mr. Carisax was stopped on North Main Street for failure to keep right.

His blood alcohol content reportedly was 0.28 percent. A BAC level of 0.08 percent or more is considered proof of intoxication under state law. Aggravated DWI is charged when the BAC is 0.18 percent or more.

n Tracy M. Huczel, 45, Potsdam, was charged by Potsdam Village Police at 11:12 p.m. Saturday. Mr. Huczel was stopped on Main Street for driving without headlights.

His blood alcohol content was measured at 0.17 percent.

n Carl B. Denesha, 56, of 220 Route 3, Fine, was charged by St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s deputies Saturday.

Mr. Denesha was involved in a property damage accident in the town of Fine, according to troopers. His blood alcohol content was measured at 0.16 percent. He was also charged with driving with a suspended registration.

n Ashley A. Brothers, 22, Gouverneur, was charged by Potsdam Village Police at 2:14 a.m. Friday.

Ms. Brothers was stopped for failure to signal a turn while driving on Maple Street.

Her blood alcohol content reportedly was 0.12 percent.

Ms. Brothers’s boyfriend, Nigel A. Spahr, 23, Gouverneur, was charged with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.

Mr. Spahr became agitated, according to police, and refused to get back in the car when instructed by police.

He is scheduled to appear in Potsdam Village Court.
