Recieves emeritus status
Joseph N. Rizzo, broker/owner of Coldwell Banker Rimada Realty, received the National Association of Realtors emeritus status Jan. 8. The award was presented by the Jefferson-Lewis Board of Realtors during the boards luncheon.
Coldwell Banker Rimada Realty was one of the first Coldwell Banker offices to open in New York state.
Hired at architecture firm
Aubertine and Currier Architects, Engineers and Land Surveyors, Watertown, has hired Brian Kreuger as an architectural intern and Melanie Gigliotti as a civil and site designer.
Mr. Krueger is a Northern New York native living in Oswego. He received a bachelors degree in architectural technology from Alfred State College. He will be assisting the architectural department with drafting and design.
Ms. Gigliotti, Pulaski, received a bachelors degree in environmental engineering from Syracuse University and has worked at various firms in Central and Northern New York. She will work in the engineering department. She is also coach of the junior varsity girls soccer team at Sandy Creek Central School and junior varsity softball team at Pulaski Central School.
Earns designation
Steve Yelle of the Northwestern Mutual Greater Watertown Group has earned his chartered adviser for senior living designation from the American College, Bryn Mawr, Pa., an institution that educates and trains professionals in the financial services industry.
With a CASL designation, Mr. Yelle has completed a curriculum that addresses the many financial and lifestyle considerations affecting seniors in retirement and individuals planning for retirement.

Bowers and Co. CPAs, with offices in Syracuse and Watertown, has hired Chantel Price.
Ms. Price, a native of Washington, graduated from Washington State University, Pullman, in 2000 with a bachelors degree in English and business and received a masters degree in business administration in 2003 from Regis University, Denver. She previously worked as a senior auditor with Ryan, Gunsauls and ODonnell P.C. in Denver from 2006 to 2010, when she moved to Watertown.
Libbie Wheeler, who has worked with Bowers and Co. for two years, has completed the requirements of the Certified Public Accountant exam. She is a north country native who was salutatorian of the Indian River Central School class of 2005 and graduated summa cum laude from the State University at Albany with a bachelors degree in accounting in 2008.
She earned a masters degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting information systems in May 2010. She previously interned with PriceWaterhouseCoopers.
