OFA raised its scoring total by three points but was unable to mount a significant challenge in meeting undefeated Gouverneur for the second time in five days in Wednesday’s Northern Conference Wrestling action.

Adam Rickett (132), Andrew Cole (170), Alex Cole (182) and Tanner LaPiene (106) all scored falls but the 9-0 Wildcats countered with seven falls and one forfeit and won the two decisions of the evening to record a 54-24 victory.

Robbie Bell decisioned Bailey Phelps 5-2 at 145 pounds and Curtis Fuller decisioned Cody Allen David 14-7 at 152 pounds. Dillon Stowell (120), Aaron Bush (126), Zach Ayen (138), Marty Countryman (160), Justin Garrison (195) and Hunter Ayen (185) recorded Wildcat pins and Mike Mandigo received a forfeit.

The Blue Devil matmen, now 4-3 on the season will host Canton in its Senior Night match on Friday.
