Big M Supermarkets stores in the city of Watertown, Adams, Sandy Creek and Boonville co-owned by brothers William J. and Gordon T. Bonisteel will be sold to Tops Friendly Markets in late February, sources told the Times.
During meetings with employees this month, store managers said all employees will keep their jobs when the stores change ownership. The affected stores are located at 1330 Washington St., Watertown; 10916 Route 11, Adams; 6103 N. Main St., Sandy Creek; and 261 Utica Blvd., Boonville.
Multiple calls to the Bonisteels on Monday were not returned.
