CARTHAGE — Joseph D. Palladino, 43, of 35695 Jackson II Road, town of Champion, was charged by state police Sunday with third-degree assault, and is ordered to appear in Champion Town Court.

Police said he is accused of punching Jacklyn Plantz, 25, Carthage, in the face early Jan. 17 at his home.
