A car described as the getaway vehicle in recent auto intrusions was found Thursday afternoon by a state trooper at McDonalds in Calcium, prompting three arrests and the recovery of stolen property.
Charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana are Robert D. Mosher, 18, of 39 Main St., Antwerp, and brothers Justin M. Davis, 21, and Jesse E. Davis, 21, both of 115 Main St., Antwerp. Jesse Davis additionally is cited with petit larceny.
Police said they are cited in car intrusions that occurred since early Sunday, beginning on Cooper Avenue, Calcium. Other thefts occurred on Fulton Street, Antwerp, Anabel Avenue in the town of LeRay and County Route 28, Philadelphia, police said.
Oxycodone was found in the suspects car, police said, and recovered stolen items included watches and GPS units.
After seeing parked at McDonalds the car described in at least one of the thefts, the trooper parked and waited to see who would come to the auto. The three subsequently were confronted and questioned, police said.
