COPENHAGEN — A town of Harrisburg husband and wife initially charged with hosting an underage drinking party in 2011 ultimately were allowed to plead guilty to lesser charges of disorderly conduct.

Scott P. and Bambi L. Riccio, both of 9143 Route 12, were sentenced in May 2011 in Harrisburg Town Court to unspecified fines and surcharges on the violations, according to court records.

Lewis County sheriff’s deputies initially charged the couple with second-degree criminal nuisance, but prosecutors dropped that charge, as the Riccios were determined to have been apparently away from home and unaware of the underage drinking.
