Justin C. Sullivan, 28, of 508 New York Ave., was arrested Sunday night by city police after he allegedly threw his girlfriend to the floor in their home.

He was detained for City Court arraignment on charges of felony criminal contempt and harassment. Police said he violated “refrain from” specifications in a City Court order of protection issued to the woman, Tonya L. Gifford, following another arrest early in December. On that occasion, he was charged with felony criminal mischief, criminal obstruction of breathing and blood circulation and third-degree assault.
