■ PHILADELPHIA — The Indian River Central School District’s enrollment rose by 34 students in the past two weeks, increasing the total to 4,273.

n EVANS MILLS — The Radio Shack next to Walmart on Route 11 will close by the month’s end. Manager Timothy J. Crossway said that he did not know the reason for the closure but that the four employees will be able to transfer to other stores.

n SACKETS HARBOR — The Parent-Teacher Organization is selling $5 raffle tickets for a high-definition Kindle Fire until Feb. 8. Only 150 tickets will be printed and may be bought at the school’s main office, school functions and sports events.
