Adam McAllister scored twice as the Thousand Islands Privateers beat the New York Bluefins, 4-2, in Federal Hockey League play on Saturday night to snap a five-game losing streak at the Watertown Municipal Arena.
Corey Belisle chipped in with a goal and an assist for Thousand Islands (16-19), which won for only the second time in the past 11 games. James Kirkwood had two assists, while Peter Dundovich made 38 saves.
Alex Redmond provided both goals for New York (4-21), while goalie Kevin Moore turned away 44 shots.
The Privateers won at home for the first time since Dec. 15, when they beat the Bluefins, 9-3.
Thousand Islands is now three points behind Danbury Whalers for third place in the league. The Whalers have three games in hand.
Thousand Islands plays Monday at Williamsport at 1:05 p.m, and then returns home Thursday to meet the Outlaws at 7:35 p.m.
