The St. Lawrence Waterfowlers Chapter has announced that it will once again be sponsoring four youngsters ages 11-14 to attend a DEC Summer Camp.

St. Lawrence Waterfowlers Vice Chairman Dan Skamperle asks that any boys and girls interested in attending the camp to contact him at 393-4678. Those applying must have the approval of their parents and must supply a parent’s name as a contact person.

The closest DEC Camp is on Lake Colby in Sarnac Lake and the camp is run on seven different weeks during the course of the summer. There are two different age groups at the camp 11-12 and 13-14. The youngsters will be selected for the camp by a random draw.

The St. Lawrence Waterfowlers Chapter has two main goals: the rehabilation of waterfowl and education.
