EDWARDSVILLE - The Black Lake Fish & Game Association will be hosting our annual Ice-Fishing Derby on Saturday, Jan. 26. All entrants must register before fishing. Registrations and rules are available at Chapmans Sport Shop and Black Lake Marine (on Black Lake) and at the clubhouse on Rt.58 Jan. 25, 6-8 p.m. and Saturday 7 a.m. Information is also available on our WEB Site – www.blfga.org
Registration is Regular- $15 for Pike, Walleye and Panfish; and there is a Junior Panfish division for, 16 years old and under, at $5.
Prizes will be determined by the registration fees collected and donations. Top three fish in each division will be awarded prizes and the remaining prizes will be distributed by a random drawing. Contestants must be present to win a prize. Prizes will be distributed immediately following weigh-in closing at 4 p.m. Saturday. There are no boundaries for this derby.
Participants are asked to please take care and be safe.
There will also be a raffle – with $300, $200, and $100 cash prizes that will be drawn that day.
