Jennifer M. Smith, 35, of 615 Boyd St., Apt. 1, was arrested early Tuesday after city police said she caused damage in a mans apartment and possessed seven pills of a controlled drug.
She faces prosecution in City Court on charges of fourth-degree criminal mischief, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and harassment.
The incident occurred about 2:30 a.m. in the apartment of William C. Queal Jr., 41, of 530 Franklin St., Apt. 3,police said. She is accused of damaging a lamp, a snow globe and Mr. Queals stereo. She also pulled his hair and scratched him, police said.
The pills in a clear plastic bag in her pocket were identified as dexmethylphenidate hydrochloride, which is prescribed to treat attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.
