MASSENA — Rebecca E. Despaw, 21, of 1952 Route 38, Norfolk, was accused of return fraud at 8:20 p.m. Sunday at the Walmart Supercenter.

She was charged by village police with three counts of petit larceny and four counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

Police said she twice shoplifted and returned items to Walmart in the presence of her two children. The total amount she is alleged to have stolen through these transactions had not yet been tallied by police Sunday night.

She was given an appearance ticket for Village Court.
