■ LOWVILLE — A driver safety course for people 50 and older will be held from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Jan. 23 at Cornell Cooperative Extension of Lewis County, outer Stowe Street. The cost is $17 for AARP members and $19 for others. Preregistration is requested by Jan. 21 at 376-5270.
