LOWVILLE — U.S. Sen. Charles E. Schumer is scheduled to visit Lewis County General Hospital today.

Mr. Schumer, D-N.Y., is slated to hold a press conference at 3:15 p.m. in the lobby of the North State Street hospital, according to his press secretary, Meredith C. Kelly.

He is expected to discuss the recent renewal of federal low-volume adjustment payments to rural hospitals, like Lewis County General.
