POTSDAM — The Good Times Party Store, 57 Market St., is closing with a going-out-of-business sale ending Saturday.

Owner Nancy A. White said the store barely received enough business to allow her to pay the bills and did not receive enough money to restock its inventory.

Ms. White said most people choose to go to stores that allow one-stop shopping, such as Walmart and Dollar Tree, rather than going to a designated party store.

She said she does not plan to open up a new store in the near future.
