State police on Sunday charged a 16-year-old Carthage boy with petit larceny, accusing him of stealing a pair of skis Dec. 1 at Dry Hill Ski Area.
Dakota J. Tripp, 36284 VanBrocklin Road, is accused of keeping skis that had been forgotten and left in the parking lot, police said. The skis belong to the 15-year-old son of Lisa Keegan, Rodman, who reported the theft Friday, police said.
Mr. Tripp is to appear in Watertown Town Court.
