Ogdensburg police ticketed James J. Erwin Jr., 68, of 210 Centennial Terrace, Wednesday at 3:15 p.m. in the 300 block of Caroline Street for failing to yield the right of way following a motor vehicle accident. Police identified Michael J. Wheeler, 47, of 600 Main St., Morristown, as the other driver. No injuries were reported.

Donald W. Copeman, 42, of 255 Belmont Courts, was issued a city summons at his residence at 3:55 p.m. Thursday for a constantly barking dog, city police said.

Jean Parker, 42, of County Route 49, Winthrop, was ticketed for second-degree harassment at the St. Lawrence Psychiatric Center, 1 Chimney Point Drive, at 1:15 p.m. Thursday, city police said.

Charles L. Thomas, 57, of Parishville, was ticketed for failure to yield right of way at a stop sign at the corner of Lafayette and Morris streets after his vehicle collided with a vehicle driven by Ellen M. Shannon, 48, of 1126 Washington St., at 12:09 p.m. Thursday, city police said. No injuries were reported.

Justin K. Jones, 28, of 603 New York Ave., was arrested for third-degree assault at 10:44 a.m. Thursday, city police said. He was arraigned in city court by Judge William R. Small and released on his own recognizance. A no-contact order of protection was issued, city police said. Further information was not available.

City police said Alain G. St. Pierre, 49, of 5553 Route 812, was ticketed for failure to yield the right of way after entering the roadway on the corner of Shea Way and Lafayette Street after his vehicle struck another vehicle driven by Allan M. Gauthier, 22, of 910 Congress St., at 10:58 a.m. Thursday. No injuries were reported.
