Scott J. LeClair, 48, Churubusco, Clinton County, was charged Wednesday at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building with second-degree introducing prison contraband, a misdemeanor.

While being jailed Wednesday morning, he was found possessing a glass smoking device, according to the sheriff’s office.

The charge is added to counts of unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine, false personation, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle and speeding, lodged in Philadelphia shortly after 1 a.m., when a “mobile methamphetamine lab” was discovered in the van he was driving, according to the sheriff’s office.

He is jailed under $15,000 bail.
