CRIMINAL OBSTRUCTION BREATHING - CANTON - Canton-basedstate police charged Randy S. Guyette, 23, of of 125 Pink Schoolhouse Road, Canton, with criminal obstruction of breathing, second-degree criminal trespass and second-degree harassment after a domestic incident that occurred late New Years Day.
Guyette was allegedly involved in a physical domestic with his 26-year-old ex-girlfriend at her home on Route 11 in Canton at about 11:30 p.m. Tuesday.
He was involved in a verbal argument when he became physical, shoving his ex-girlfriend several times and choking her. When she was free and told Guyette to leave, he refused and the domestic continued for some time before Guyette reportedly shoved her into a refrigerator and left on his own.
Guyette was arraigned in Pierrepont Town Court and was released on his own recgnizance to reappear in Wednesday in Canton Town Court. A temporary order of protection directing him to stay away from his ex-girlfriend was issued by the court.
PETIT LARCENY - MASSENA - Massena-based state police charged Jacob L. Farrell, 22, of Massena with petit larceny following a larceny from a building reported at 9:32 a.m. Sunday from the town of Massena.
UNLAWFUL POSSESSION - MASSENA - Massena-based state police charged Jason L. Michaud, 31, of Herkimer with unlawful possession of marijuana and ticketed him for operation of an uninspected motor vehicle and operation of a vehicle with a license plate violation following a stop at 1:35 p.m. Tuesday on state Route 56 at Route 310.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT - BRUSHTON - Malone-based state police charged Mark A. Garrand, 47, of North Bangor with disorderly conduct at 1007 p.m. Wednesday at 9 Pearl St. in the village of Brushton. He was arraigned in local court, and cash bail was set.
TWO INJURED - WESTVILLE - Two people were reportedly injured in a two-vehicle collision at 12:40 p.m. New Years Day on state Route 37, near the Lower Flats Road, in the town of Westville. Troopers said the vehicles were operated by Allen B. Arno, 57, of Constable and Secilley C. Shipman, 19, of Westville.
PROPERTY DAMAGE ACIDENT - LISBON - Ogdensburg-based state police investigated a two-vehicle collision at 7:38 a.m. Wednesday on County Route 28 at County Route 31 in the town of Lisbon. Troopers said the vehicles were operated by Elaine U. Amberman, 62, of Norwood and Russell E. Jones, 56, of Ogdensburg.
