An Ogdensburg man pleaded guilty Tuesday in city court to driving while intoxicated.

William D. Popple III, 45, of 944 Ford St., pleaded guilty to satisfy July 8 charges of aggravated DWI, failure to keep right and speed not reasonable and prudent. Court records said his blood alcohol content was 0.21 percent when he was stopped by police.

Judge William R. Small fined Mr. Popple $500 plus $395 in surcharges, granted him a one-year conditional discharge, revoked his driver’s license for six months and ordered him to enroll in a Drinker Driver Program and install an Interlock alcohol detection device in his vehicle.

Mr. Popple was represented by the St. Lawrence County Public Defender’s Office.

In other cases before Judge Small:

Donald A. Dobbs III, 25, of 11 Grove St., Ogdensburg, was sentenced to a year in St. Lawrence County jail, Canton, for a May 2 charge of fourth-degree criminal mischief. He was accused of kicking at an Ogdensburg police cruiser rear side door while in custody. He was also fined $200 and ordered to pay $236 restitution and a $50 DNA fee.

Mr. Dobbs was represented by attorney Benjamin G. Johns.

Eric B. Adams, 29, of 716 Pickering St., Ogdensburg, was granted a one-year conditional discharge and fined $150 for petit larceny stemming from his use in March of another person’s debit card. He was also ordered to pay $18 to the card’s owner and a $50 DNA fee.

Mr. Adams was represented by Mr. Johns.
