The St. Lawrence mens and womens indoor track teams picked up a total of four Liberty League honors after its performance at the Saints Holiday relays over the weekend.
Saints senior and former Ogdensburg Free Academy standout Jacob Fredericks gained co-performer of the week after running a time of 8.77 second in the 60-meter hurdles and was on the winning 800 relay. Fredericks shared the award with RITs Mike Kurvach. Connor Rockhill of SLU claimed rookie of the week honors for his win in the pole vault.
St. Lawrence freshman Ella Martin set meet records in the mile and 3,000 meters to help the Saints women take the team title. Teammate Marissa Turner won rookie of the week after setting a meet record in the high jump.
Clarkson womens basketball freshman Isabella Esposito won rookie of the week honors, while Clarkson mens basketball player and former Potsdam Central star John Coleman made the league honor roll.
