ADAMS — State police charged two 17-year-olds Saturday in connection with the theft of an iPod from a student’s locker at South Jefferson Central School.

Summoned to Adams Town Court are Joseph J. Overton, 17621 Miller St., Adams, who is cited with petit larceny, and Nickolas R.B. Cheever, of 12255 Route 11, Adams Center, who is charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property.

The theft was reported Friday afternoon, police said.
