MADRID Funeral services for David W. Link, age 59 of Elm Street in Madrid will be held on Tuesday (Dec 11, 2012) at 10:00am at St. Raphaels Church in Heuvelton with Rev. Kevin OBrien officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
Calling hours will be held on Monday from 2-5pm at the Fox & Murray Funeral Home. Mr. Link passed away Saturday at Canton Potsdam Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
Surviving are three sisters & their husbands Eleanor & Harold Chambers of Heuvelton, Mary & Charles Ames of Watertown and Theresa & Larry Crowe of Heuvelton; three brothers & their wives Paul & Pat Link of Clayton, Bernie & Nikki Link of North Borough, MA, Richard & Rose Link of San Antonio, TX, his many care providers and several nieces, nephews & cousins. A sister Gloria Robinson, two nephews Patrick Chambers and Adam Crowe and two nieces Angela Smith and Patricia Kench predeceased him.
Born on February 15, 1953 in Ogdensburg, NY, he was a son of the late Everett & Edna (Chase) Link. David resided at the Sunmount Developmental Center, St. Lawrence NYSARC and IRA in Madrid for most of his life.
He enjoyed books, music, dancing, attending church and outings with family and friends.
